How Can I Become Saved?

"For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."

Repentence

"There is forgiveness of sins for all who turn to me."

Luke 24:47

Step 1

ADMIT

Admit you are a sinner.

"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Romans 3:23

Step 2

BELIEVE

Believe that Jesus Christ is the only one who can help you.

"...I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me."

John 14:6

Step 3

RECEIVE

Receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Romans 10:9

Why does God want us to Repent?

We all need to repent because we have betrayed God with our sins.

"At last my people will confess their sins, and the sins of their ancestors for betraying me, and being hostile toward me."

Leviticus 26:40

Repentence is necessary for an ongoing relationship with God.

"The Lord God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.

2 Chronicles 30:9

Forgiveness of sins and entrance to the kingdom of heaven is only for those who have turned away from their sins and turned to God.

"Peter's words convicted them deeply, and they said to him and to the other apostles, 'Brothers what should we do?' Peter replied, 'each of you must turn from your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

Acts 2:37-38

**Gods Promise**

"If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land."
