"Worship and Praise"

As followers of Christ, Worship & Praise should be a part of our daily routine.  Sometimes people feel they should only Praise God for the big  things He blesses us with.  The outward things, like when God blesses us with a new job, a new house, or a new car.
We should Praise God for the small things.  We should Praise Him for the simple things in life.  -Such as waking up in the morning.  Praise Him for food to eat, the clothes on our backs, health (even if you are not in good health Thank God you are still here).  We should Praise Him for family and friends.  The list goes on and on.
Sometimes we feel we have to wait until we get to church to Worship and Praise God.  However, we can Worship and Praise God anywhere.  We can Praise Him at the breakfast table, in our cars (carefully), at work, etc.  Worship, and Praise Him again, that He allowed you to make it safely home at the end of the day.

"O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness..."
Psalm 96:9

What is Worship?
The Bible says in John 4:24, that "God is a spirit:  and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth".

Worship is giving reverence to God from the heart. It is expressing praise and thanks to God for who He is.  For all He has done.  And having faith in all He is going to do.
Along with worship, we should give God praise.  God is worthy to be praised.

"Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord".
Psalm 150:6

What is Praise?
Praise is thanking God for His mighty acts.  Praising God for His awesome work.  Thanking God for bringing you all the way.
O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:  make known his deeds among the people.  Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him:  talk ye of all his wondrous works."
Psalm 105:1-2

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.
Psalm 107:2

We must have a close relationship with God, for His show of love , grace, and mercy towards us.

We must recognize His awesome power, His forever mercy, and His inmerited favor that He has given unto us, although sometime we do not deserve it.

The Lord is merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth.
Exodus 34:6

"Therefore God also has  highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Philippians 1:27 (NSB)

If you are letting someone stand between you and the Lord...They are closer to Him than you are.
